Pastor Walt Brown

Pastor Walt Brown

I am a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, however, my childhood years were spent between Louisiana and Texas. I received my Bachelor of Music Education Degree in 1981 from Texas Wesleyan College in Ft. Worth and a Masterís Degree in Music Performance from West Texas State University in Canyon, Texas in 1991.

I have spent over 38 years in Music Ministry and am now privileged to Pastor this wonderful congregation at Fellowship. There is no greater joy than to serve the Lord in ministry. I am honored to have the opportunity to pastor and am looking forward too many more years of service.

My life verse is Micah 6:8 ďHe has shown you, O Man, what is good; And what does the LORD require of you but to do justly, To love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?Ē

Gayla is the definition of a helpmeet. We have been married for 39 years, raised 3 sons, and are blessed to have 5 grandchildren and hoping for more!

Fellowship Baptist Church has been special to me all of my life. It was here that I came to know the Lord in 1975 at the age of 11. I have taught in Sunday school, Bible school and am currently the Music Director. Though I donít have any formal education in music, I love to sing and thoroughly enjoy working with our wonderful adult choir and childrenís choir.

Kevin & Angela Manning

Kevin & Angela Manning

Kevin & Angela Manning were called to the youth ministry in 2011. Their love for young people and their passion to share the love of Jesus became a reality in October 2011 when they were asked to serve at Fellowship in the youth ministry.

Kevin & Angela were married on July 19, 1991. Angela is a lifetime member here at Fellowship and asked Jesus into her heart as a youth. In 1997 Kevin walked the isle and opened his heart and began his relationship and walk with the Lord. Even though we have no children of our own, we have a passion to help and mentor anyone thatís put in their path especially youth.

It is such a blessing to watch young people grow in their relationship with the Lord. Serving on mission teams, working in Bible School, attending youth rallies, teaching Sunday school and going on fun trips are just a few highlights of our ministry. Our mission is to teach youth to be Gods hands and feet, to show them how to serve others. It blesses our heart when we can make a friend, be a friend, but most importantly lead that friend to Christ.
